MCCS Mission Statement

To expand, through education and outreach, the public awareness and understanding of the Maine and United States Constitutions and of other documents related to the founding of America and of the intents of its founders; and to preserve the integrity of the founding documents and the words of America's founders.

To also
1. provide opportunities for members to learn facts about issues and candidates;
2. teach members effective methods to have their voices heard by all levels of government;
3. collectively share opinions and discuss solutions in a safe, civilized forum;
4. promote participation by individuals in their own government.

Chairperson
Kenneth A. Capron, Founder, CEO, is a former CPA focusing exclusively on non-profit audits and taxation. Ken is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of USM. Ken ran his own retail business and has consulted for many Maine organizations.

Tom Chisholm - MCCS Media Advisor
Tom Chisholm is Chief Meteorologist for News 8. Tom grew up in New England where he learned to appreciate what the four seasons are all about. His experiences growing up with nor'easters, thunderstorms, hurricanes and other weather phenomenon, lead him to his love of forecasting.

Tom began his meteorology career as the Chief Meteorologist at WPRI-TV in Providence Rhode Island. His New England experience also includes a staff meteorologist position at WHDH-TV in Boston.

Chisholm also held the position as Chief Meteorologist in San Jose, Calif., Savannah, Ga., and Fort Myers, Fla.

Additionally, Tom has national experience, having worked at the Weather Channel as an on-camera meteorologist. Chisholm returned to New England in 2003 working at WMUR-TV in Manchester, N.H., the sister station of WMTW-TV.

Mary Conroy - MCCS Branding
Mary Conroy is a Business Development Specialist with Berry Dunn McNeil & Parker. Prior to that she ran her own small business providing graphic design, marketing and project management services to small and medium sized businesses. Mary holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from the University of Southern Maine and an Associates Degree in Interior Design from Becker College. She lives in North Yarmouth with her husband, John and their daughter, Olivia.
